DWR, I wish you luck in you’re wanting GM to pay your payments while the car was in the shop! I had 2 fuel injectors go bad on my ‘16 and replaced in October under warranty. Had 2 codes popping up and it took a couple of visits to the dealership for them to diagnose the problem. It runs like it did when it was new now and everything seems to be good to go. Guess the tech was one of the best at the dealership.

Second one has had pistons head cam etc... Just 2 engines so far. Including the original. My car shakes under load or when cruising. Main harness has been replaced as well. The list goes on. 🤦🏾*♂️ |

I've read a couple other users on here that have managed to get them to do it (when it has been an extended time period like mine) so it is possible at least. I'm glad you were able to get your issue resolved easier than I did!

Geez... Tell them about the bearing is most likely spun; if they wont tear down to check then call GM corporate and explain the issue and how me having the same issue turned out to be a bearing.... If you would like I can give you my info (in private message) so you can reference my exact case.

"found that it had spun a main rod bearing."
So was it a rod bearing or a main bearing? |

nice image but it doesnt answer the question. just never heard a rod bearing referred to as a main rod bearing before. usually a main bearing is the main bearing, and a rod bearing is the rod bearing.
