I am looking for dual purpose car that is reliable and fast on track. Both M3/4 and ZL1 are reliable on track. ZL1 is faster. Tracking ZL1 might be easier than M as you can almost track it stock from what I heard, where with M you need dedicated track wheel/tire set, racing brake pads. Both I can fit my two boys in the back. Both I can do a little bit grocery shopping. M strikes a more neutral balance between everyday living and tracking. But ZL1 delivers much more on the track. Exterior and interior wise they are totally different. But I couldn’t care less.
