Agree with everyone that says OEM. I am still on the factory ford wipers on my Focus. Car will 7 years old in October and they are just now getting to the point where I am thinking about replacing them.
My sister had to replace her wipers blades due to weather damage and she had Bosch Icons. They worked great but started to wear out much quicker than OEM |

This^^^^ GM wiper blades are the best IMHO and not much more than you'd pay anywhere else.

I’ve tried quite a few different brands. Sometimes the cheapest ones will outlast and work better than the more expensive ones. Much depends on the quality of the rubber, which tends to vary widely.
These days I just look for name brands that have a good sale. Sometimes you can pick them up on a great sale. |

I just picked up a pair of PIAA Aero Vogues, and I will be putting them on my car soon. I test fit them, and they look almost identical to the factory blades. They are silicone, so they should last much longer and work better than the rubber ones from the factory.
Scotty Kilmer's video on the subject (mechanic for 50+ years): PIAA Aero Vogue (need one 20" and one 22") https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -- EDIT (8/13/21) -- After having them for a while, I have a few thoughts. Pros: - Haven't changed them since (and I live in warm, sunny Cali) - No rips, tears, or signs of wear - Look like factory blades - Work well in the rain Cons: - Not as good for cleaning the windshield (the rubber seems better at scraping off bugs and other gunk) - Can vibrate slightly with wind/high speeds (not terribly noticeable though and doesn't make contact with the windshield or anything) Overall: If you are tired of replacing your blades and clean your windshield often, go for it. If you often use your blades more to clean off bugs and grime, stick with OEM.

A few years ago when I still read Consumer Reports they did a huge shootout of wiper blades and the winner was a company I'd never heard of.
Valeo. I still use them today on all my cars. I also use AquaPel coating, it's the same kind of thing as RainX but for me it lasts a month or two longer. Highly recommended.

GM, for sure they have wide plastic to shade blades, worth the 32.00 for set.

If you go OEM, but make sure it's really the original equipment parts, 23360287 & 23360288. The first set of replacement blades i got from the dealership, they said they didn't have the parts but did have generic GM blades of the right sizes in stock, which i unwisely took. Don't remember the part numbers for those, but they definitely didn't work as well, they skipped along the glass a bunch and left smears right out of the bag.
Just got the right blades again a few days ago,and they work much better. |
