Sure you need a Car, with a driver, but so much of this is dependent on the track itself, track prep and DA. You will get a better idea of the real world ETs with the side by side runs during Camaro Fest.

In the article about the ZL1 drag car and when they did the Sema video they mentioned at least 720hp. Do you think they are referring to the motor or rwhp?

I would think rwhp based off how fast the car runs. So, props to them to get that power from those few bolt ons.

You are correct. I was using 550 whp going 11.50s as a ball park. I’ve seen car go 10.20s with 550 but they were about 3100 lbs and the suspension was specific to drag racing. Just don’t want ppl to think that you shave a second off every 100 hp. It’s not like if you have 1000RWHP that your going to be a 7 second car unless you have everything right.

To reduce quarter mile times usually takes exponentially amount of horsepower. It is not a one for one reduction.
