The very informed lady at the NY Auto Show that was the technical spokes person for the ZR1 on display, said that the ZR1 was projected to be sub 7 minute times on the Nurburg Ring. Its spoiler creates 900 lbs of downforce. It make the massive ZL1 1LE spoiler look small. (Spoiler Envy).

It may not be a track car, but somebody forgot to tell it. Its just a softer/gentler version of a track car thats faster than most "Track" cars. Its a track car with feelings. LOL

I hope that's true...the latest rumor is 7:12...just a second shy of "tiny spoiler car".

It seems that most of the manufacturers think that specific performance parts will cause people to buy the vehicle with that part. For example: I would buy a ZL1 1LE tomorrow if I could get the 10 speed auto transmission. But they don't offer it..........

Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 (off-road)
Ford GT (height adjustable)
Mercedes AMG GT
Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
Aston Martin One-77
Aston Martin Vulcan (off-road, race)
RUF CTR3

And DSSV came from racing. From Autoweek: "It was pioneered in Champ Car in 2002, where it won five championships. It made its way to F1 where it was present on the season winners in the 2010-2013 FIA World Constructors’ Championships with Red Bull Racing. Multimatic dampers were on 25 of the 60 entries at Le Mans last year, including three of the four class winners."

....good company, indeed!

Do not forget to mention tractors Hahahahah. It’s actually true. Spool valve technology started its life in a tractor.
