On turbo setups, it's a common practice to run the bypass valve, a closed circuit one, back into the exhaust. Just be sure to plumb it to a point well past the O2 sensors.

That's how my Audi TT is plumbed.

Factory setups because the air is measured already, have to put back into the intake track, post TB. I raced a lot of VWs. I want an Audi TT RS... bad.
