I'm in Texas. We have 85mph speed limit in places.
Just cruising down the interstate and thought I'd give it a look.

No. I was getting 27.5 MPH yesterday. No hills. That what the A10’s are capable of. My old ZL1 1LE I never saw better than 15MPG.

75-80MPH. On some highways out here it is frowned upon to speed.

It’s great that the A10 is capable of decent mpg if driven conservatively. This makes a hwy distance trip cheaper and keeps you from having to stop for gas as often. Thanks for

I agree, my v gets about 11 mpg, the ZL1 gets about 15 . They both deserve the gas guzzler tax.. and honestly, they should both cost a lot more than we paid for them.

Mine gets around 26 on the highway on cruise on flat surface. It is a shame that the government still sees fit to penalize a car for that good of mileage. But yes, it has to be combined average to be exempt. From a stoplight, mine gets 4 mpg.

The only one I know of is the 40 mile stretch on highway 130 between Austin and San Antonio. But there is talk of more coming, maybe even higher which would be great.

In the late 90's Montana had no speed limit during daytime hours. The lawmakers just had to change it so they could write more tickets. Here are the facts.

1. After the new Speed Limits were established, interstates fatal accidents went up 111%. From a modern low of 27 with no daytime limits, to a new high of 56 fatal accidents with speed limits.

2. On interstates and federal primary highways combined, Montana went from a modern low of 101 with no daytime limits, to a new high of 143 fatal accidents with speed limits.

Yes, the A10 will get good MPGs when you are at the speed limit in the right lane and pulling a vacuum. If you are in the left lane, making boost, this engine can burn fuel so fast you can watch the fuel gauge drop. It's all about how you use it.

Wait...where is the hidden camera? We all have fantastic blown 650 hp/650/tq cars and we are discussing mpg? perhaps we need to change the name of our beloved forum to, ahhhhhh, “Toyota Prius mpg comparisons forum”.

Just teasing, but when someone asks me what mpg I’m getting I always reply, don’t know , don’t care.

That's what I say, who cares about gas mileage. I have a right as an American citizen to burn as much gas as I want to. Hey, I paid a gas guzzler tax, I say let's guzzle some gas, since I paid for the privilege.

My Buddy in our Buick club always says "It burns every drop I put in it"
