I see PRC has an integrated seat and seal now for dual springs. Texas speed is selling them in a kit... anyone use them yet?

We spintron tested the conical vs the Tooley. The conical looks awesome, less loft and bounce, overall better than the btr looked by a little. But options are small for the conical, and if you break one it’s going to get ugly.

The dual always offers added protection. The singles will make more power no doubt.

Agreed...but in drag racin there is always the possible that SOMETHING will break...even a dual spring setup doesn't always guarantee no carnage if a spring fails...

and now havin run the PAC's for over a year and a half and still not hearin any negative reports regarding beehive spring failures except for those early LS3's with the yellow springs..I feel very good about movin forward.

and here is another little tid bit to chew on...dual conical's...yup..and they do not rub against ea other so less heat too..http://www.compperformancegroupstore...ct_Code=7245-1
obviously for a BIG cam but you all get the idea...

so huraahh! the track is OPEN today! current DA is -1650! By 11:30 when they start lettin cars down the track should be @ 40 sooo air is gonna be awesome...

PEACE!

My pleasure sir. as I have stated in other threads in addition to tryin to help peeps with probs..I also want to explore outside the envelope without goin so far as to not maintain control..make sense?

I am seriously stoked to get this going and barrin any unforeseen complications hope to have things turned around in a months time..waiting on those last few items to been obtains(took advantage of the 20% ebay last nite for timin cover gasket set, rear diff gasket and a improved racin p/u tube bracket...all fer $65...not to shabby..

What about these for a 12lb boosted set up using .615 lift cam on TSP endurance lobes - PSI 1516ML

Good to .660 lift -- PSI LS 1516 ML Beehive... 1.290" 0.640" 150 lbs @ 1.800" 420 lbs @ 1.140" 409.0" 0.660" 1.080

I like the 150lbs on the seat and 402lbs open at .615 lift for an FI application.

Good to .625 lift PSI 1511
