I was thinking the Katech ported TB and Rotofab CAI if I can get my hands on one...here in CA sucks. Isnt there different CAI's tube diameters? I think 4" and 5" right...and the 5" would require a tune...please correct me if I am wrong.

Vengeance Racing has a CAI also that is 4 in. and requires a tune

Well, it is a matter of cost effectiveness. Unless a CAI dramatically increases the flow of air to an engine, a tune is not necessary to see some benefit. A tune will often maximize the added flow, but not enough to justify the cost.

If I can add the ported TB and intake and not tune I would be good with that. Eventually I want to get a tune but I would wait till I have all the other parts to make it worth while. I like to minimize the amount of tunes I do to a car. At the moment I would like a little more throttle response, that would be nice.
