I really like the Camaro belt set up. It is a standard ribbed belt to the jack shaft, but then a cogged belt to the head unit. Easy to access also.

The Stingray kit has a different drive system, and therefore the claims for Stingray hp might not fully translate to the 6G Camaro kit.
There is an optional 10 rib drive system for those who want to push the max out of the 1500 or move to a YSI.

I was the first ECS kit installed (also by ECS) and everything has been great with this kit no regrets or problems here after many miles and over a year of being on the car in various racing/daily driving situations.

They do make a 10 rib direct drive setup to replace the 6 rib to jack shaft/cog system for those wanting to move to a larger Head unit (Paxton 2200R or YSI) but honestly I see NO reason why the current drive system couldn't max out (~14 psi) the current 1500SL thats being used and everything has held up so well really a very low maintenance/durable solution.

I'm at 550 rwhp/510 rwtq on ~7 psi with nothing done except the ECS kit but I am planning on adding meth soon to push the current 1500SL or step up to a bigger 2200R head unit (when ECS is ready to test that ).

This is a very well thought out kit and a great Value!

I urge you if you have any questions at all give ECS a call (Chris, Doug, or Alex those guys are awsome) they are great to work with and do what ever they can to help.

Hey come on down to Atco in the spring. Let's see how it runs. And the heat soak effect.

After my twin turbos I was thinking never again. But the drive train and cooling is so strong and good. The car is ready for more power. So much cheaper than a ZL1, and no a supercharged SS is not a ZL1, but it is not too far off. IMO

Myself and my buddies are definitely going to be hitting up ATCO this season a few times thx for the invite .... no choice since E-Town closed (my home track ... still pissed off about it). Looking forward to seeing how the car likes ATCO after a few runs and dialing in the trans tune.
