Love it but I regret not getting the SS (thought at the time I really wanted a convertible, and I was in the LT Convertible/ 1SS price range)

Loving mine. First vert ever and first sports car in 20 years. No problems with mine. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Mines the a8 and no problems. No racing here so slow paddle shifts don't matter. I have done some runs on private property and out ran everything there. Don't think a 10th of a second on shifting would matter to the majority of us. As far as problems they all have them. Ford dodge chevy. That's what they make Warranty and lemon laws for. Loving it !!!

Its a chevy , they really are good cars , like GMC Toyota and honda the build quality is top notch . Unlike the smellcats and Turd 5.0 rustangs that catch fire and or failing brakes or engine blown up with less than 200 miles on them . We. Regularly Beat the shit out of my car and it keeps on kicking but.

Can you give me details?

About to order the exact same car that you have, but a 18' instead.

I'm going on two years with my 2016 1SS and still love the car, but it does have more problems than most cars. I would hope that 17's and 18's have less problems than 16's. For me, those problems haven't been deal breakers. So far, still dealing with a groaning rear end when cold and occasional weak starting when hot. I also find some minor paint flaws and the panel gaps on something as simple as the fuel door is off. Prior to the Camaro I had: 2010 GTI, 2007 Charger SRT8, and 2000 Mustang GT. All those other cars were flawless for years, but none as much fun as a Camaro SS. Remember, many people only post their problems on forums. You'll see problems posted on mustang and mopar forums too.

I love my 2017 2SS M6. I've had it for 4 months now and have put over 4000 kms on it. That's with it sitting in the garage for 3 weeks waiting for snow tires...

I love my SS even with the few issues (rear end groan, foggy front window, worrying about rear end bolts coming out). But I have the first year model and bought a 100K mile warranty knowing I had the first year model. Id expect those kinks will be worked out by now.

Just buy it like you want it - dont buy it with plans to upgrade later.

I'm enjoying my 1LE. I had a 1LT and 1SS Gen5 previously, and this car is tighter and more fun to drive! And she's very yellow!

I possibly have the highest mileage Gen 6 when looking at owned time.. Ive had it 14 months and put 96,000 km on it.. and have ZERO regrets about buying it. Paid damn near msrp for it also ( didn't care, just wanted it) and that doesn't bother me to this day.

Many oil changes, some tires and better brakes - some cosmetic changes and I start her up with a smile every time.

I daily mine and have just over 24,000 miles in 14 months and love it. Only complaint is the paint is really fragile when driven during the winter months.
