Should I let the dealer monkeys run their dirty polisher all over my car or just sacrifice the money I paid for them to do it and do it myself? I'm not one to keep my car spotless at all times, but I do want to prolong paint life and keep it looking good as long as possible. Car is garaged and driven a few times a week.

Let me know what you think on my new, undamaged paint. Red Hot color BTW.
I had a dealer do the same thing, negotiate the price then they want to add cost of sealant cause they already did it. When I was ready to walk, then they dropped the fee.

You should have told them you're not paying for it or tell them to shove it up their arses and they can keep the car. Good Lord. I'd have probably come very close to punching the finance guy if he pulled that shit with me.

What is the dealer's name?
Bought my Camaro from Earnhardt Chevrolet in Chandler, AZ. I had to order it because there were no more 2017 available with the LT1 package and in my color of choice. Besides I did not want to buy a year old car and there were no deals on 2017's except small motor ones.

Finance guy did not say I could not opt out of the pain sealant BS, but I was never able to say no or that I did not want them to do it. By that time I was just ready to get in the car and drive it home. I was pleased with the whole buying experience except for this paint sealant BS.

I have a dual action polisher and pads, etc. Just need to have the proper compound and sealant to do it myself. I have plenty of time and want it done best way to preserve my paint.
