I've read some of your posts and been meaning to say congrats on the beautiful car and welcome to the forum! The curves that I play on are several back roads through out the country out West of Katy, better ones are towards San Antonio. Didn't want to drive that far yesterday, mainly wanted to see if any rubbing would happen under heavy acceleration and some curves. Bought it more for aesthetics as the 6Gen seems to be plenty stiff. If it helps any there, that's fine as well too.

As an update, took the bar off and on the right side where it was hitting, the back hole was 2+mm offset from the front hole causing it to be higher in the rear thus hit the hood. Working with BMR, they agreed that this wasn't suppose to be this way and sent me another new complete strut brace to replace it with (great customer service BTW)...got the next one and the holes from front to rear were almost perfect inline with each other. BMR wasn't sure what happened when this one was produced, but the new one fits perfectly, NO RUBBING at all.
To reiterate, bought this mainly for aesthetics and "if" any rigidity happens, great, but could care less. Like the the way it looks, it fits and I'm happy!

How did the CTS-V manage to use a factory strut bar. The chassis is the same as the zl1 and the ss. Wonder if the ctv strut bar fits the ZL1.

Is that the lt4 with the lower cooling plenum? That would explain how the brace fits

I Just Got Mine

I know this is an old thread but i just got my BMR-STB020 for my 2023 ZL1 installed it and it fits great and looks awesome! Zero Rubbing perfect fit no issues and while its mainly cosmetic because i do not plan to track my car to possibly experience the benefit of this strut tower bar its chunky and looks great. I recommend it!
