I know how much an improvement going from a 3.27s to 3.45s in my gen5 was, stepping up to 3.08s in my gen6 has me hot around the collar.

It appears that the 26" tire would benefit from a 3.08 or even a 3.23 (if possible) whereas the 28" tire would still not be at an optimal rpm through the traps. You can estimate about 2mph gain per 100 rpm if you raise the limiter up to 67-6800 rpm. Who's making the phone calls to verify ?? I'm interested too.

You will like start to see aftermarket support for gearing options for the Gen6, just seems everyone is late to the party.

The 1Le cars have 3.73 which might be a Hoot with an auto.

15 and 16 differentials are completely different from what I have seen.

Ted.

Thanks Ted. Do you think the Ring&Pinion could be the same?

Show blind has a 3.73 diff in his car right now. We are still working through it. It has made great gains so far though.

How does that work out with the 3.73 gear in your car on 26's and 28's.
