I have a charger/maintainer and have tested each day after having to jump start my car once..

After a full charge at 100%, each day loses about ~18%. After the 4th day, the battery was at 18% and there's a slight hesitation upon start up but it still starts up. So 5 days (5-8%) would be about the limit before I wouldnt be able to start the car.

With transport mode, it still drained about the same and couldn't start after the 5th day. Before the jump, I can go on about a week 1/2 :/

Perhaps I may need a new battery, etc lol..

Also, my garage is locked so I do leave my key in the cup holder, unlocked.. Not sure if it makes a dif where I leave the key or whether or not the car is locked/unlocked.

5 months. Many years ago during winter storage...two years in a row.

I left mine all last winter with no tender. Started it about once a month. Never had a problem. I don't leave my key inside it and I lock it always.

I'm going to try locking it and take my keys out and see how it behaves.

I have had mine sit for two weeks or so with no issues. Last night I was sitting in the car with accessory mode on playing with valet mode when the DIC showed a "Low Battery" message. First time I have seen this message. Started fine and charged for about 5 minutes. Drove it this morning with no issue. Load tested battery and came back normal so don't know what happened. I'll chalk it up to the "glitch".

If I don’t plan on driving it for over 5 days, I throw the OEM charger on under the hood. Good peace of mind to know it’s going to fire with full juice.

Same here, had 2 instances where the battery was totally dead. I think it maybe some sort of glitch as well. I purchased a battery tender about 2 weeks ago. Now i may just buy a portable power supply with a jumper and just leave it in my car as i never let it sit more then a week at most without starting it and would be a bitch if it was dead while i was away on vacation ect.

Mine sat for two months, so I put it in transport mode. Started right up when I came back.
