Wow. Is that paint bubbling / blistering in the second link? Did the gold color in the first link come from using stock rotors? I see in the second link you're not using OEM rotors.

We have the zr1 color matched color in stock if you were looking to get them done.
However at the moment I do not have cores for the 2017 zl1. They are over $2000 and without charging for a core exchange it takes a while to make up the cost.
Turnaround time is under 4 days at the moment.

Try a set in powder coating for the heat resistance. I track my car a lot on a track that is very hard on brakes and have had no issues with fading of the color... A lot of brake dust but that cleans off.
Most track days my calipers are smoking for 10 minutes when I pull off...
If you do a set and they fade I will refund the cost....

Yes, it is blistering off. The first picture was from OEM rotors and pads. The second was a combination of RB rotors and track pads as well as OEM rotors and track pads. Obviously the second repaint was not to the quality of the OEM. I was advised that the coating was good to 1200 degrees.

About 4 days right now. I'm interested to see if yours will hold up to the heat. Sort of a destruction test... My 5th gen is only 650hp but heavier and the old 6 pistons held up and the new 6th gen zl1 have new fronts but the same old rears with a bigger offset for larger rotor.
