I placed mine the same day as you, thinking the same thing both you guys were. I ended up sending two emails to the GM rep for my dealership, asking why an order placed so early wasn't being filled.
It appears an allocation for a car has everything to do with your dealerships past & current sales.
BUT, we are just days away from Becky giving us that grand congratulations and a VIN

I switched dealers 2 months ago, the first dealer couldn't get a 2nd allocation. I got lucky a friend found a dealer that had 2 1LE at 3000 status that no one had claimed.

Seems like a lot of dealerships in TX, FL, CA, PA, MI were getting allocations early, these must be where highest concentration of Camaro enthusiasts are
