I agree.... I've found my A10 hates to be cold.

Mine doesn't like being cold as well & generally leave it in auto till op temps are up...the 3rd to 4th rougher shift is always there. I drive manual most all the time when in town. Like stated, the other gear shift are extremely smooth. Heck, I don't really mind it but just sorta weird it's the only gearing where it's happening.

I haven't noticed anything on the down shifts but will take note next spin...thanks gang.

Actually...I wish it had started off like that in all gears. However, since it did not & I paid $65k this ride & it shifted like silk in all gears off the lot & now 3 to 4 is rougher, I feel as a consumer that I have right to reach out to other owners that 'actually own' the same tranny could give some feedback.

Your post adds nothing however...at least it terms of value to this thread.

I understand, the internet makes people strange sometimes...anyone who hasn't felt this transmission simply doesn't understand how smooth it really is in normal daily driving. It's quite amazing & really hard to feel it shifting under tame conditions.

Wind the girl up & the tranny / engine turn into a woman scorned ready to scorch the earth...I really dig how she changes personalities.

I experienced one rough 4th to 3rd and then later a smooth 4th to 3rd in manual mode on my drive home. Both were done slowing down to an eventual stop. I didn't get a chance to try it a third time. Rough one felt more like normal engine breaking so it could be an rpm thing. Maybe a blip on the throttle is needed when down shifting from 4th to 3rd in manual mode? I will need to pay more attention to speed and rpms next time.

I have also noticed if you do a firm break dropping from mid 40's mph to a stop while in track mode one of the downshifts blips the throttle. It's hard to tell what gear change that is occurring on. I really wish your gear was always displayed in the auto modes.
