Do yourself a favor and don't look at the weather forecast for Lansing if you haven't already done so.

I ordered mine yesterday and was told 6-8 weeks to delivery and that the build would stat next week. After reading all these posts i am having serious doubts if that will happen.
Oh Well, at least I found a car as MSRP I think? Actually he does not even know the price yet but we agreed on msrp. I would be willing to send exotic car transport to pick up the car rather than wait for a train:-) Gary |

I'd be interested as it would save the $995 destination fees and; It would save the cost of decon'ing the iron on the paint and other damage. |

As a side note, Rodgers Chevrolet, where Becky Doyle is the sales manager, has their own enclosed trailer. Don't know what they charge but am sure they are competitive and the staff working there are Camaro oriented, which has to be a good thing,. Laborsmith |

even tho people pay the destination charge. They are prolly waiting to ship out in a bigger bulk in an attempt to save money.

Can my dealer have a truck pick the car up and bring it to N.C? Or do they have to wait for the train to get it to S.C.?

To my knowledge only the assigned transportation company can take the build from the distribution center to the dealership. Also, if I read your question correctly the rail autorack carrying your build is at a non distribution center, which means there is no ramp to offload.
Other than possibly New Mexico, there are no exceptions. Laborsmith |

Yea the cars normally go by train to S.C and then by truck to the dealer in N.C.
