That foaming that you did prior to your rinseless was not in vain. You did knock some dirt off and make your rinseless procedure safer. I often foam before a rinseless.

Nobody is saying touchless washes are to replace the two bucket method. But there are times that I don't need to rub a mitt against my paint. As I said earlier, I don't need my car perfectly detailed 24/7.
