I would play around with the slip. From one end of the spectrum to the other. Also isn't ther a setting for the road surface? Might make a difference too. The problem is by the time you perfect it you'll need new tires. Lol.

I only put chevron and shell premium 91. It's what we have here in SD. I did put cheap premium once in a pinch but it wasn't even a full tank. I mean it COULD be an issue but it's unlikely it still has residual left. But possible.

So this morning I found a lot to try launch control out. I wasn't actually going though a full pull, but just figuring it out. So I set it to 1400 rpm and 10% slip. Brake pedal all the way down and gas pedal all the way down. Rpms did settle at 1400 rpms so that is working. So I let go of the brake and low and behold, it is the exact behavior that happens when I "warm" the car up. So I'm thinking it's definitely the torque management. It's insane that it really cuts that much torque when it wants to.
