I’d say what you’re feeling is totally normal, and there probably isn’t anything the dealer can do about it. You can probably reduce or eliminate it with tuning software (bump idle speed, turn off catalyst warmup, etc.), but obviously there are consequences to that.
Hello BMWM.D, I am sorry, new to this forum so did Not realize until now that it was ZL1 section. However, thank you for the clarification, if it Normal then I don't want to do anything, it actually sounds cool like the old age carb models especially with the Track mode exhaust option. Just wanted to make sure it was normal, thanks again for your clarification.

Normal. Mine does this as well (1900 miles) and also has an regular interval miss/skip. I haven't gone through the trouble to identify the time interval between misses, it's at least a minute I think.

I had a 2000 Fat Boy that had a similar miss. Kinda quirky for both to do the same thing. While I am curious to know why in this case I'm not worried about it.

I have the same thing, I feel like there is a misfiring from the first day. 2018 Camaro SS Auto, brand new.
Now today it's just 2600 km.
I did scan for Idle, and it shows fast swinging +15 rpm to -15 rpm .
It’s never stable.
I forget what was the Idle rpm , maybe it’s swinging between 550 rpm to 580 rpm very very fast swinging.
No codes & no problems.
Sorry for bad English, I’m just trying to help.

Yes my 2017 ZL1 does it too which is totally stock with the exception of the RF CAI. I see no problem with yours.

It's normal for GM small blocks. If it was misfiring past a certain threshold of what GM considers acceptable then you would get a check engine light. The ECU's are pretty smart so if there is a issue your dash is gonna light up.
