No problem. I can't speak for stainless works, but kooks if you jack it up really high when you put the headers in you just go through the bottom and it's easy enough. At least for kooks, I didn't pull any engine mount, but I realise it's a different brand.

If you don't have a second set of hands when you do this, use your jack to support the header when you slide it up, then go up top and get the bolts started, but don't tighten until everything else on the bottom has been reassembled!

What size headers did you install? I looked it up and cant really see to much of a bend difference, maybe there shorter by a tad who knows but my left side went it from the top and my passanger side i put in from the bottom. My headers are 1 7/8. If you used a 1 3/4 kooks header that could be why.

The 1-3/4 would be smaller pipes.

1-7/8 kooks are what I put on. I couldn't seem to get mine from the top, my passenger seemed close to being able to but I didn't want to risk breaking something, so I tried the bottom.

I understand 1 3/4 is smaller thats why i asked if you used a smaller header and thats how you got it to fit, its weird i also read someone removing the right motor mount while installing kooks headers. Yeah maybe its a auto vs manual thing ??? Because theres no wayyyyyy you could get the right side header in without removing the mount. Im blown away wish someone could clear this up jusy for curiosity.

Oooh Ok I understand now. Lol. And that could also be the case. I forgot a lot of people have autos! For a manual it's just the steering shaft, and I removed the starter, but have been told you don't have to!
Also I didn't remove the spark plugs on any side, just the wires, but I was extremely careful sliding the headers up

I may pull them off this winter and send them to be coated. The shop that tuned mine swears it can be done without pulling the starter too. I have my doubts about that one. Lol

I didn't think the starter pull as too bad, unlike The front header bolt on that side next to the water pump tho.....
