Mine barely registered on the gauge unless I was beating on it or stuck in traffic in the summer.

The only time is ever saw it go up was on track.

When I had my '16 SS, the A8 would barely register any temp if outside air temp was below 80 degrees, above 80 degrees it would be around 125-140 degrees.
