I'm still shocked that on ProCharger's tune my injectors are only seeing 30% duty cycle at WOT. To me that says the injectors still have plenty of room to go....

From what I've read about these DI engines, duty cycle is not what we need to watch. Instead, it's pulse width. There is a very narrow time frame to inject the fuel correctly.

This is exactly why you want to make sure you tuner has done many many DI setups before going with them for FI. Have a weird mixture NA might mean your engine's nannys have time to save you for a bit. With FI the difference between someone who knows how to tune DI and someone that doesn't is fuel getting shot out of your cylinder from overcompensation and throwing off A/F mixtures (essentially making the mixture seem rich to the sensors, but lean in the cylinder itself) Just got off the phone with my tuner... He took a look at my logs and said I don't need more fuel unless I plan on bumping up my boost as well. Which is cool considering some people are running out at 10psi as it is. He did mention that I can come back and get rid of meth, but would lose power because of the octane wall of 91 (thanks cali) I guess I'll go back to sitting on my hands instead :P |

Good info. About to find out. Just installed the blower. I have LT4 injectors, LT4 high pump, and stock in tank. Also cam with 32% lobe. We are going to see how far it'll go on pump gas with this setup. And then try the E85 to see where it gives up. Then install the ZL1 pump and try again. Might need to get smaller pulley for blower too. We'll see tomorrow hopefully.
