I saw a black ZL1 pulling out of the dealership the other day. Upon first glance, it just looked like a black Camaro to me, but when I did have a chance to give a close look to it, it did look pretty mean. But I hate black cars, with black wheels. IMO it hides all the details of the car

I'm all about seeing the lines on the car, minus the rooftop lines (sunroof option). That and contrast between the black runner pieces were major considerations for my purchase. The best color(s) for that, IMO, are:

-Summit White - quite popular it seems
-Red Hot - see above note
-Silver Ice Metallic - if I had it do over with, this would be my choice. The Daytona car had me drooling.

Other colors w/opinion:

-Black - sexy AF, just too hard to keep clean, maybe kills the lines, 1 of 4 colors in my final decision
-Nightfall Gray - final four, probably not that hard to keep clean...?
-Garnet Red - final four, and kinda seems to be rare...on here and YouTube anyways
-Mosaic Black - I'd love to see it in person, and in lots of sun...I bet it's stunning
-Bright Yellow - not my thing
-Krypton Green - unicorn? And not my thing
-Hyper Blue Metallic - good looking paint, seems to be very popular
-Artic Blue Metallic - see Krypton Green

I have seen them here at work in every flavor.

1) I still think it looks best in white. But white/black accents has always been my thing.
2) looks good in Hyper blue
3)good in red hot
4) yellow isnt my thing, but the latest Gen5 ZL1, C7, 1LE, and new ZL1 has changed my mind.yellow also really compliments the black trim.
5) Some people at work think I am crazy but I LOVE the Krypton Green, most especially on the 1LE..but on the ZL1 too.

Black, grey, mosaic really kill the flow of the car for me. Silver..meh.. Garnet red and Arctic blue are genuinely my least favorite colors of all time. I do not like "Blilver' or Maroon, never have.

I genuinely don't think this car looks bad in a single color they offer it in. I have my own preferences, of course...

I believe the wheel finish is integral to picking a color, too...both my past 2012, and 2014 were silver w/ black wheels, and I loved the contrast, menacing, mechanical look...I was almost set on a Hyper Blue w/ metallic gray wheels ZL1 until they released the ZL1 1LE version...and am now getting that in Nightfall Gray with black wheels. It'll have a darker, angry look with all the satin black and carbon fiber trim.

It took me forever to make those choices...I annoyed many people.

I struggled between Garnet Red, Silver Ice & Nightfall Grey...finally decided I wanted a car that would slip through some of the radar with little flash as possible & loved the way the gun metal rims & CF hood blend in with the NF grey.

I'm beyond happy with my decision, but there are no wrong colors...let peace be your guide. If it's eating at you, kept at it till it stops.

I cannot wait to see Mr. W's NFG 1LE!!!

If u want KG and there are some available why don't you get what you want ? Fly, drive , ship it ... Many options out there for what you really want. Why settle for second best in your mind ?

I agree, get what you want. But I cant find one within 1000 miles. Then the rational voice kicks in and says "is a color really worth an extra 1k in shipping costs"
