I was hoping Tim would chime in but hes busy with my tune (hopefully ).

I completely trust Doc and his tune. Doc has been in business since he got out of the navy as a jet mechanic. He also tuned my dads truck ten years ago. I don't do anything half cocked, and I check up on things before I do them. I've also been riding around for four to five weeks already on this and it's doing nothing but getting stronger, and sounding better.

Doc also warranties his work for as long as I have the car. Thanks for your concern about my car.

70 rwtq gain is impossible for just headers and exhaust. Definitely some kind of error on the dyno operators part. But it doesn't matter. As long as its tuned properly and runs good and you like it, who cares what the dyno says.

Is this a troll post? Doc tuned your dads truck 10 years ago and that makes him a super tooner for one of the most complicated ECMS on the streets? Not saying its not possible but your graphs are straight up impossible, way too high and they make no sense. But if it drives fine and its safe I guess thats cool.

Didn't say what you said, I said what I did to say I trusted him and his tune. Have you ever read a dyno graph? Then how did my dyno graph not make sense to you?

Apparently Doc is a super tuner if he can get a 70 lbs/ft and no one else can.

What gearing change did you make?

Was told they were shortened. Didn't ask the ratio

Well I'm assuming that means he went to a higher numerical ratio. It's a big fail not to re-baseline a car after a gearing or tire change (if not same diameter). You could have picked up more power if you had since higher gears result in lower numbers. Also I noticed the before and after dynos are months apart. Even if on the same dyno, that introduces a lot of variables. The biggest problem is the your peak HP is way lower in the RPM. Either someone did not set the inputs right on the dyno, or there is something funky with the tune. I'm inclined to believe it's an input issue.

I take it you're an M6? Unless you are running slicks or DRs you are going to have a much harder time launching with all that power down low if that's what your tuner was going for.

Try not to be so ignorant. No one gains 70rwtq with headers. Ever. Dyno's are fake news.

No I'm an A8. And yes launching is a problem, I had to get used to the wheels spinning more with the increased torque

Not ignorant, just being a smart ass. It's ok for you all to be a smart ass with me but when I do it to you I'm ignorant? And dyno are to see the gain after the mods.
