To the OP most of the things you mentioned are standard in the 2ss. Sounds like its got NPP and MRC as optional stuff (which is great). I would try to get the cars story. It might be as simple as someone found out they got a baby coming.

On owner then sent through an auction, asking $36,500 for it.

Don't know if it was a GM auction.
