I tried line lock. It works really well. I was just surprised you can't just light up the tires if the mood strikes. But I just went out and tried what you guys suggested and held down traction control for 10 seconds. Yep, that's it, problem solved. I left a couple of nice stripes out on a country road and the nannies never cut engine power. I won't be doing that often, but after 1500 miles of break in, I wanted to unleash the beast a little. There is a lot of technology in this car and I thought I had read everything, but.... apparently not. Thanks for the suggestions!

Haven't even really started other than thumbing through...guess I'm old & admit I am most definitely NOT a gadget guy & stubborn on it. Hell, I carry two new iPhones & don't do anything but talk, text & pandora.

I think it's really neat technology, but there is something kinda icky about pushing buttons, smashing the peddle through a corner & having the car drive for you...if I read that whole traction control thing correctly. I would rather learn the car and take my time building the confidence & knowing what it will do as is.

Of course I don't want to be 'that guy' on the track either...I'll get her worked out. Patience I reckon.

Ahhhh technology! Not to change topics but speaking of technology the Android Auto feature is very cool. No need to pay for the Nav anymore now.

Well like they said, all nannies go off if you hold the button for 10-seconds. Let her rip Ricky Bobby!

I'm old and definitely am learning the new technology. When I read the supplemental performance book I never saw the 10 sec switch deal, I appreciate y'all putting that out there.
