On another note I was going to PM you about the exhaust... it sounded PERFECT to me when you had your wife/gf rev the car...just wicked.

I'm wondering how my 1LE will respond to the extra power with the 305s in back prob not much different with that much torque.
I have 305 eagle f1 g2s, they hook pretty good as long as it's over 80 degrees outside. I've got full exhaust, headers and high flow cats from arh, with borla s type mufflers.

Do you happen to have a link to the installation instructions? If not could you tell me what whipple uses for the drive pulley? I'm curious if you swap the harmonic balancer like the e-force or if it uses a crank pulley that attaches to the balancer like the procharger. It seems the most difficult part of the install is swapping the balancer. I'm also interested if any cutting or rerouting of components ( like the horn ) is required. Thank you, Nick.

It uses a new balancer and it seems the hardest part is the installation of the heat exchanger, requiring the front of the car to come off.

Nick, you can contact Whipple (like I did) they'll send the link. I deleted mine (oops) I also got Elderbrock and Magnuson. Sometimes one has better idea then the other.

Awesome, big torque means, well nothing on the street because it just kills rear tires. I have less torque then yours and I can't even get on mine till 3rd gear and it still spins hard. It will get a little better once the temps come up and the pavement warms up. Congrats on the new found power, have fun but be safe. Don't take the traction control off on the street.

I don't take the traction control off, even though it blows right through it. I feel like it still knocks it down a tad and keeps it from getting plum western.

I have to find the boundaries and limits of any car I drive. Well at least the ones I own. Haha. In a safe atmosphere of course. Probably the only reason why I would never own a bike. But then again I've aged like a fine "whine", so I think, so I must have learned some skillz!

Had to put in the Whipple whine...

Any updates on driveability, durability etc? Are you getting any better at putting power to the ground or still lots of spin?

BAD

1. Wait time for the parts, obviously.
2. Customer service seems to be responsive but not helpful at this point. I haven't needed anything important yet so we will have to wait for more data.
3. Once again, obvious things like gas mileage (down about 4 mpg, NOT due to zoom zoom foot, I ran the cruise over the same 25 mile stretch) and spinning tires at low speeds, etc.
4. My throttle controller is useless now, I ran it on city mode without the blower but now the car is way touchy with the controller, I turned it all the way off, and actually removed it (for sale), and it's perfect now.
5. Kiss traction control and launch control goodbye. It blows right though it. haven't played with the stabilitrac yet.

Could be BAD/GOOD

1. Exhaust is noticeably louder and more aggressive/ more rumbly. This is a GOOD thing for me because I personally thought the BORLA was a little rice like, however it is completely more like a NASCAR now. totally took the rice out of the exhaust note.
2. Shifts are noticeably harder. With that being said the shifts are not annoyingly firm, just noticeably. If it weren't for the shifts and the amazing power, you would never know that the car had a blower on it, which leads me to the good...

GOOD

1. Holy crap the power. 602 ft/lbs at the rear wheels to be exact.
2. Perfect drivability and NVH. I haven't noticed any noise other than a slight, very slight, whine inside the car. Zero vibrations and the car is certainly not harsh. I think it has a nice balance of harshness because who really wants a muscle car to be like a RR.
3. There is no "jump" when the internal boost valve closes and you start getting into the boost, it is a very smooth transition from vacuum to boost.
4. The look of the HUGE blower on top of the motor is awesome, second to none. it screams we mean business.
5. The shifts under full throttle is absolutely amazing now, as if they weren't before. Super quick.

Basically I absolutely love the car and the blower, I need to learn to drive it under 40 mph because it has so much torque it just blows the wheels right off. I tried to do a few launches but i think my fastest 0-60 was 4.6 haha, no better than before and certainly not repeatable.
How on earth could the Borla be rice like..

We got the 1st Atak system and nothing like a ricer at all.. Did notice the exhaust got louder with the blower installed.. now with headers its one of the loudest car I've heard under full throttle and with rev match on.. yes more like a Nascar for sure.

curious to see the numbers of just the kit then kit with headers and cold air..

if the dyno is with headers its no better than output than the eforce since they are claiming 580 on a dynojet.

I like how eforce stepped it up now.. on a LS3 it was crap but now it's right there!
