Another thing to keep in mind is that colored vinyl is considerably thinner than something like xpel. This vinyl is 3.2mm thick while I think xpel and other clear PPFs are more like 8mm thick. I have already put a couple holes in the vinyl :( but I drive the crap out of this car. I have taken it to many different scenic locations in mexico (where all of the damages occurred lol), onto a road course (Motorsports Ranch at Cresson) and to an Autocross event.
Check your units on the thicknesses.

I'm pretty sure the units on the thicknesses are right?

Doubtful. Maybe MILS thick, no millimeters... Not the same thing... 1mm = ~39 mils

I stand corrected, I feel like I should have known this being a scuba diver lol....
3.2 mil thickness is correct.

The color choice reminds of my first built car. Totally love the look!

Show some pics of the edges and corners, The jams and under hood. Did they take all the parts off, handles, headlights, rocker, bumpers, taillights, spoilers, emblems and such? Or did they just leave most stuff on and tuck inside.

Also, was this car red? I thought i saw bits of red.

NVM, yah saw the video. Guess it was red. The second picture there is red in the jams, not sure if you were aware of that.

I did like that they used cut tape at least on a small part of the video. Did they use that on most parts? or did they use knife as well.

When I get home from work (in like a week lol) I will try and take some more detailed pictures of the craftsmanship. Yes the hinged areas (door jambs, trunk and hood) were not done, but they could have been at $200 per hinged area.

Im not sure how much they used cut tape vs a razor but I do know that every vinyl installer uses a razor and cuts on your car, and if they say they arent they are probably lying. The good ones though can do it without causing issues.

I wanted to wait and see how I felt about it before I decided whether or not to have those done. I actually like the contrast of the red with the wrap. The cut lines in the door jambs especially are so clean that in my opinion it actually looks really good with the doors open and the red showing.

I know they took a lot of stuff off of the car. I know they took the front bumper off, the splitter, the tail lights, all the emblems. I'm not sure what else they took off, but looking at the finished product it seems that really the only parts that were obviously folded around were like the rear glass, the A-beams (which she actually told me she spent a lot of time getting right because seeing red in that spot really bothered her and you cant see any red under the A beams), And some of the side panels.

There is slight red visible at certain angles along certain panels, but in my opinion and from what most people who have seen it up close in person tell me to my face anyway lol, it looks good.

One other spot I really admire is the way she folded the vinyl into the inside of the gascap. With the gascap open you really cant see any red which required her to essentially cut close to a circle and fold it into the lip where the rubber gasket thingy under the gas cap seats.

I will definitely update with some more detailed pictures of the spots that showcase the craftsmanship of the install when I get a chance.

I actually saw your car taken apart and they even went as far as to wrap the bumper braces behind your grill so the red wouldn't show through! Sharp Wraps in Carrollton is the real deal and they take care of their clients. IMHO I think you should do some red accents on it.
