Thanks for posting OP! I was going to ask the same question. I had read about all of this before I received the car and was expecting some larger plastic air dams to be where the tiny rubber ones are, so I wasn't sure if that was right or not myself. The rubber doesn't look that good since it sags and such, and doesn't look like it would block much of anything, but from my understanding on aerodynamics, the smallest thing like that can make the air do way more than you think. So even though the larger curved dams behind them look like air would still be hitting them, it's likely not as much as we'd think.

Take them off if you want, these dams don't do anything below 100 miles an hour. If you're OCD or you're a track person, leave them on, other than that, they can come off without any problem. Mine came off in the 1st day of ownership.
