Mr. Neil told me about what happened. Life changes very quickly and our happiest moments can suddenly turn darker than we imagine. There is nothing to say in response to something of this magnitude. We all need to reflect on what we complain about every day. This puts many other things in perspective as we are all so fortunate and frail at the same time.not to have to endure this pain.

So sorry for your loss. Thanks for posting. It's awful news, but points out so many truths, and one of the most important ones is to never take anything for granted. None of us are promised another day or even another breath. It's so easy to overlook this in day to day life, but we all need to be reminded how precious our friends and family are, and that we need to enjoy them as often as possible. I'll give my kids an extra big hug for you and your family and show them how much I love them. You're already in our thoughts and prayers. Bless you all.

So unfortunate, I cannot imagine that emptiness. Be strong for your wife and soon to be born, do your best to temper the sadness with joy, I know easier said than done. I am glad I tell our 4 yr. old all the time how much I love him, I cant imagine a day without him and his 4 mo. old sister, and my thoughts go out to you and your family; stay positive, an incredibly hard thing I am sure.

I must admit that I saw this thread before anybody answered it. Your loss is profound and I truly did not have the words ( similar to many of the first posts) to describe how awful I felt.. So sorry for this tragedy for you and your family..
