I like them sometimes. I actually have Eagle F1's on my track wheels and am debating filling in the Goodyear Eagle F1 lettering with a white pen. I do both track days and auto-x and think it photographs well while actually on the track.

I don't mind the look in pictures, but when you look at them close up, it really looks tacky as hell. Most of the time, the sticker/decals are raised above the tires and most of them look like they are about to come off. If it was more flush or really painted on, it wouldn't look so horrible.

I was wondering if just taking paint marker to existing lettering would work? I think it's a look that works on some cars, but definitely not all. Checked out those tire stickers someone mentioned above, not worth $25 a sticker lol

They sell pens for this very thing but in the research I've done it sounds like the white Sharpie's are pretty good for it on Amazon.

heck I'm getting ready to just do white walls. i think that'd look good. i like the look of the white letters but i wouldn't do it myself.
