I'm having mine dyno tuned locally and not sending my ecu to Whipple but I believe my speed shop can tune it. It's all about receiving it for me. Lol

I have a dyno close to me also. But I've read tuning could be a problem??
Any input on that?

My understanding is that all tuners have been challenged tuning any s/c for the LT1 but they are doing it. Hopefully I'll be able to give you true in sight in the two weeks. Regardless of the outcome I'll be posting.

My .02

Don't take your car to just any place that has a dyno, go out of your way if you have to and find a top tuner. Do some homework now and save any headaches down the road.

You made a good choice my friend, I have a 3.4 Whipple unit on my truck pumping out over 600 ponies and I love it !!!!

I was told yesterday via email they build them to order and the demand was much greater than expected.

Still doesn't explain no dynos....the specs say 585 RWHP would be nice to see some ireal nstall dynos.

If anyone is interested in a Whipple please feel free to give me a call.

We have been a whipple dealer for over 7 years now.

The words tame and ridiculous come to mind based on pedal position of coarse.

You can take it to Church on Sat. and Drag race on Sunday.

If they are all built to order, that means still no shops have them on the shelf ready to go doesn't it. I'm trying to decide on what to get still. I like whipple because it's always been top notch and it's a twin screw.. a little scary all the delays though

Well, the sooner you order the sooner you get it, saves your place in the production line.

A large wave of units will be coming soon they are simply waiting on some parts to complete units.

Ted.

With the uncertainties behind what day it will come, the statement on 6-8 weeks, and the lack of data on how these really perform, I don't think I'm going to go with Whipple. I want my car upgraded and road ready by this driving season.
