Gotta admit those new Hemis are exciting.

Cost is out of my reach though, so I will just putt around with my SS.

Old and slow...
Compare to a New Camaro 2SS/RS optioned out, it's way more affordable by about 10K. I was able to get this new one out the Door for less than $32K usd.

I'm registered and active on Hellcat.org but just "lurk" on challengertalk. There are two Hellcat Facebook groups (SRT Hellcat & Demon Group and TeamHellcat) that are really active too.

Does it handle better then the 2010 SRT8? I had one.
Felt like a boat. I did not like the car at all. Bought it for the wife.
Was not fast in my opinion either.

I'm assuming you are directing that to the OP but I will throw my $.02 in given what I've experienced and seen. The first modern Challenger I ever drove was a co-workers 2009 SRT with the 6.1. I totally agree with you about it feeling bloated with average acceleration.
The current naturally aspirated 6.4 pulls much harder than the old 6.1's. The current 392 cars are very low 12's bone stock and capable of just breaking into the 11's on a drag radial. Dodge has also really improved the feel of the car since 2010. The engineers aren't miracle workers, given the hefty curb weight, but in my opinion they handle much better than the first run of SRT's.

I will also add that my wife daily drives a 2016 Go Mango Charger R/T and even though it's no rocket ship, it will easily get her into trouble if she's not paying attention.

I can tell you that it feels Lighter, tighter and more hunk down than my 2010 Camaro SS stock did new, probably because it has less rotating mass with the Lightweight forged Aluminum wheels option and the Super Track pak option (Bilstein shocks, revised sway bars, 1/2in drop coils, adjustable steering & throttle response, Performance Brake upgrade, 3.9 rear end, Limited slip diff, Launch controls and Summer performance Tires)

They made a big suspension revision in 2011 and with the 2015 model years.
It does not feel Like I'm driving a boat, not like the 2005 Magnum & 300 I owned.
Sorry, I did not drive the 2009-11 SRT8.
