The DIC is the screen in the main instrument cluster with the tach and speedo.

No, you can't put the ambient temp in the HUD or DIC, it is only on the "infotainment" (radio) screen as shown in other posts.

I'm much more unhappy that you can't set the reading lamps to stay off when you open the doors (again you could with 5th gen), but then all of these items are like being married to Heidi Klum and complaining because she won't wear red socks.

The only thing I look at on the HUD is RPM and G force when entering the interstate.

I also use it for speedo, I drive a lot of surface streets :(
