I'm going to be developing this in phases. One unit will be capable of all features but those features will roll out as they get completed. The first feature is the core to the entire design that is necessary to make this work at all. Once that is done it will enable me to implement the extra things like Flex Fuel (still working on the analysis).
I expect to have functional prototypes of the core functionality in my hands around mid January. This project is much more involved than the AFM units. It will probably be February before the additional functions are fully implemented. There is another component to this entire design that I will have to have someone else do as it is out of my skill set at the moment. But it will be very slick. Tim |

Interesting. I remember when running a MAF translator and Hypertech programmer was considered tuning before LS1 Edit came out. Times sure have changed. On a similar note, there is one company (Diablo?) on the Corvette forum that claims their tunes are completely untraceable through the flash counter of GM MDI.

It is possible to circumvent the counters and CVN list. HP Tuners and EFI Live both have opted not to allow that even though it is possible.
I'm going to be exploring if I can make a second ECM work. I'm not trusting anyone elses feedback on that. I'm going to test for myself. Tim |

Makes sense and I don't blame you. In the thread they did state they know someone at a GM dealer who confirmed they could not tell if it was reflashed.

Very interesting... I love this type of stuff. Where there's a will, there's a way. Good luck and I look forward to updates.

Wow, I just saw this...interesting as I have a friend who was talking about wanting something just like this for his car as he has free access to E85.
I don't even have an E85 pump within 50 miles of me lol... |
