I am sorry that you are forced to read the internet and advertisements that poison your perception of reality.

The only snake oil is the advertisements that manufacturers spread about there product gains that are not achievable without some form of misrepresentation.

You can call me the Mythbuster, I tell it like it is good or bad.

The only way you're gaining 100 HP on this car is to either Heads, cam headers, exhaust cold air, OR add a supercharger or other form of Forced induction.

You can read my recent testing of the best aftermarket bolt on parts available for this car today and get real accurate information with no bias.

Agreed! The best anyone can do is present the measured data without any marketing skew and let customers decide for themselves what is worthwhile to purchase. Everyone will find different value propositions in a given modification. Ted, us, and others are trying to extract the most out of what we have to work with.

Ted,

What are you seeing stock A8's put down in 6th gear on your dyno? I am curious to see the delta between the M6 and A8 cars.

Thanks

They are closer than you would think, mine was 414 430 with 250 miles on the clock.

M6 are 417 434 some slightly higher with more miles on them

Wow, that is close. I saw where Fraxum's did 429/434rw. So there is about a 10-15rw difference between cars and mileage. Just trying to get an average base line for some comparison.

Thanks.

EFI Tuning has plug in modules that will fool the fuel pump control module into thinking the valves are in place, we are offing those modules as part of our packages when a customer wants to remove the valves.

I bought a 2.6 HP engine for 699.00, so don't feel bad about 6 HP for 399.00.

Yes I know it is hard to move from being spoiled by the Gen5 but it is still HP at the end of the day and HP cost money.

It is not like you can purchase 6 HP for any less with any other product, this car comes with more HP from the factory so it is harder to find HP and just cost more per HP.

Same with the exhaust, we used to get 28 RWHP and 28 RWTQ from LT headers and high flow cats, now we get 15-15 for the same mod.

To get 25-25 you need to do LT headers high flow cats, and a full exhaust at least to the stock muffler, the pipes are pretty bad on this car so we get response from it where we didn't with the Gen5.

For pricing and options please call the shop or email tedj@jannettyracing.com for a proper estimate.

Thank you for your business.

Ted.

Dammit. I just re-read my post and saw I typed 100HP. I meant 10HP!

My bad.

This is what you get when you break your car in at Atco.

Ted, Question!
I have a 2SS, A8, with Mishy intake. My Car has 10,000 miles, and still averages 27+ mpg on the Interstate....checking mileage the old way. Fuse 51 NPP is pulled...my 1 exhaust tip on both sides is black in a couple days after cleaning.
So is my car still running rich in certain conditions, like hard city driving, but not cruising??? Is a tune needed to help this?

Questions:

Do the rocker fulcrums interchange between the LS and LT?

What about the valve springs? I know it's early in its life, but if they're anything like the LS3, some of use can expect a broken valve spring. My '14 SS, think g8, had a broken spring discovered while doing a cam change.

Are the pushrods in the LT1 really stiffer than the LS, or do they need to be changed.

Other than the pushrods, the other 2 are really preventive measures based on the LS platform.

Ted.
Is the Gen 6 in stock form (no internal engine mods) with only minor bolt-ons Camaro more difficult to tune for a meaningful power gain.
