Ha I just replied to your other thread.
I have like $1450 in the Corsa/Flowmaster X pipe setup. I think I sold my Magnaflow for $1200. That $250 price difference was worth it because the car wasn't driveahle to me lol You're close, we should get hooked up so you can hear mine at least before you buy anything else!

Uhh...it doesn't delete the cats, and our cats don't have resonaters. Have you seen the underside of our car? Have you seen the flow master x? You can clearly see it doesn't delete the secondary cats. I would love for you to try to prove me wrong. Wow...you are clueless.

Just to clear things up because bowtierocket is spreading the wrong info...
The 2016-17 camaro has no resonaters and the flowmaster x pipe doesn't delete the secondary cats. When flowmaster says resonater delete, they mean a small crimped part of the exhaust that is NOT a resonater. See my attached pic... |

I can confirm since I was close to getting the Flowmaster Scavenger X-Pipe but decide not too since my mufflers are loud enough.. Their X-pipe just replaces our factory X-pipe and it doesn't delete the secondary cats.

Here's a pic of the Borla x pipe that does delete the secondary cats vs the flowmaster that doesn't.

This is what flowmaster is calling a resonater. When In fact it is not.

Well you should easily see why I was mislead and after speaking with them on the phone where rep confirmed said information is why I came to the conclusion. Surely one would expect to believe an exhaust manufacturer. At any rate, I'm thinking of doing cutouts instead anyway.

I'm really surprised Flowmasters mentioned resonators since we don't have resonators :(
Cutout sounds good, some have complained that the remote to toggle the valves may start to have problems but then again, some have it for years without any issues. |
