That's great to hear. Thanks for the info. I'm pretty excited about putting it down. Did you do your roof?

yes im about 95% done. the licence plate area messed me up with the angles so i had to trim there and i ran out of vinyl lol i actually had some trouble with the roof being so high and having to work from the sides of the car. but like i mentioned, you'll be working with gloss vinyl so you should have an easier time than me.

some advice: try to limit the use of a heat gun to only self-heal the vinyl, finishing over an edge and when you feel you stretched to much so it returns back to original form. you should be able to do the this whole thing with just a squeegee and minor stretching, that way when the heat of the sun hits it, it wont try to return to its original form and lift. these are just things i learned as i go, i'm no professional lol

The combo of the vinyl over the white should look awesome, Senior Chief. Very interested to see your finished product.

My last unit was CGC Sea Devil (behind the gates at Bangor)....we lived in Poulsbo and really enjoyed our time there.

Thanks man! It's a great place to raise a family. When were you stationed there?

The knifeless tape can be tricky at times. I say it's fat fingers. .
It took a little bit but I got the hang of it.

I watched the video on how to use it twice and I said to myself, how hard can it be? Now I'm thinking I'm in for a steep learning curve.

Just leave about 2" on the end so there is enough to grab. When you leave it short or do small pieces it gets tricky.

I like it. But then again, I am partial to purple.

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.
