Take it to your local. The installation charge will be billed to the dealer who was suppose to install them or GM

Speak the dealership you purchased it from, and ask for them to pay the other dealership to install it. Ive done with my customers numerous times if an LPO item didnt come with the car that arrived at a later date.

Check your window sticker carefully to see if there are any other LPO items that you didn't get. Mine had 4 items that they didn't get around to installing, due to the fact that it was a demo.

So this leads me to believe that the original dealer got paid for it, and therefore responses above that a dealer can apply for warranty, are not correct? That was my original gut feel also… I always thought install monies transferred between manufacture and dealer are at the time of invoicing. |

I just thought of something: If the other dealership already charged you for the install, maybe the most straightforward thing to do would be to call them and ask if they will pay the invoice for having it done at the local shop. If they say yes, then it's a matter of emailing them a copy of the receipt so they can send you a check. I think this would be the smoothest way to do it and forces them to own up.

I'll probably try to do the install myself, since it might save me some time and it doesn't look too hard. We'll see. |

Don't forget any tint shop can probably do this for 25 or 50 bucks in 20 min… And if you mess it up , the decals are really expensive, from Chevrolet.
