Well went one step forward again after some google research. Found a set of TPMS on EBay from a Corvette site. Cross referenced the part number from camaro.com that was listed in their add, then again on EBay. Got all four complete kits for $100. I'm now into the wheels, center caps and TPMS for $600. Tire Rack is showing the tires for under $800. Looks like after all is said and done I should be in for right around $1400 which is $400 less than where I started.

Not cheap by any means but much better than the $1800 I started at.
