Well it is so much fun when you hound your dealer enough they finally figure out how to tell you the status of your order! I am also 3400 as of 10/27/16.

I'm an employee at a dealership group, so I check my status daily (ok, twice a day). Will report as much progress as possible. Also, I noticed that shipped cars get a railcar ID, and if I'm not mistaken, those can be tracked like UPS packages. I'll consult my train-nerd friend for confirmation on that. All of our cars tend to be rail shipped to Milpitas, CA, about a 15 min drive from our dealership.

DIG IT!!! Let me know what you heare. When I built my SS I got the rail car number and tracked it to the dealer in the bay area. I actually called the owner dealer and said...GIMME MY CAR!!! It's in your lot. He thought I was full of $hit but sure enough, there it was on the truck in the parking lot. So much fun

Great news! From what I read Lansing Grand River Assembly is currently operating 3 shifts/day, 5 days/week.
So today is the deadline if their TPW's are accurate!

Not to be a bummer, but they are running behind and playing catchup. Plant was closed four days for supplier issues and Election Day. Mine had a TPW of last week and got built Wednesday. Another poster with a 10/31 TPW got built yesterday. But some 11/7's have been built. Good luck!

So between election day, the Veteran's day holiday and supplier issues, the plant was only open 2 days this week...or maybe 3? This probable delay in my build is gonna make me puke! Oh well maybe this car will turn into a Valentines gift rather than a Christmas gift!!!

My car was built last week. I'm still at 3800. Hoping to hop on a rail car like a HOBO and get my car for Thanksgiving. TPW 11/7 was flat hauling ass!!

I am now 4B00 at the carrier's lot (Precision). Car was produced yesterday Nov 14. Got my VIN and the factory model/Order build sheet. Built as ordered and the model is listed as 1LS/1LT. I had been wondering, not that it mattered, what the model would be since the order for a 1LT was placed just before the 1LS was introduced and the 1LT became an A8 model only...I had order with M6.
