It's the before/after delta here that matters. Not the actual numbers. I'd request the ECM log files from them... especially the final run. Someone is playing games with the numbers.

I'm not questioning your assertions, but their website says the gain is only 8 HP with this mod. Is it the tune that accounts for the rest?

Sounds a lot fishy with just a TB and a tune. Are you sure OP you did not add ARH LTs and and full exhaust Jannety sells also?

Again... it's not the absolute numbers. Different dyno types and brands will spit out different numbers. The issue is the delta from baseline to tuned. It is beyond reasonable.

Exactly. I was questioning the gain, not either number.

From what we have seen maybe 1-2 hp from the TB and another 5-10 from the tune.

Didn't you tune your car yourself? If so how much did you gain?

In the peak areas about 15 RWTQ and 12 RWHP. At the lower RPMs there was about 25 RWTQ gained. KR was my limiter when I tuned mine. You can only add so much timing on 93 octane. I'm looking forward to seeing how much can be squeezed out with E85. I will be utilizing the same Dynojet next week.

436 is a solid number for a tuned LT1. If anything I would question the 386 stock figure. If you take 455 as the rated figure then thats 17% losses, which is way higher than what anyone else has pegged the camaro at.

Unless it was a really hot day when you did the base line run and a much colder day after (in any case that should be corrected for to a certain extent).

Wow, ignore the professionals on this board. Its amazing that if someone has hp tuners and some ability to tune that they know all. Good numbers and don't take any shit from anyone on the board, just do your own thing. That's why some don't participate because some question everything and anything. Congrats and thanks for posting.

Ask him to show you peak timing at max TQ, max HP, and AFR. That is all that we need to know.

Just to chime in here about this. I'm personally just open to anything as closed minded people just simply stay in their "what they think they know" fields without adding anything to it. I personally have experienced people in my painting field who have 30 years experience supposedly all over the place but it looks like 30 years of doing crap work. I would just keep an open mind neither believing one is more right over the other and see what comes up comparing the same factors on your gain.
