This is why they hate when you get in front of them to slow dawn.

I was thinking this has to be a joke of some sort. He needs a wingman or a chimp to help shift gears.

How would anyone pass a motor vehicle road test driving that in the past?

Looks like the Wizard of Oz pulling the leavers.

He's just making that up! I'm not sure a couple of those levers are even connected to anything.

Here's a single lever 18 speed Eaton/Fuller shift pattern with the built in Hi-Lo air splitter:

I drive a 10 speed kw with a c13 every day to get a load of distillersand every year when we cut silage a 79 chevy bruin with a 3208 and a 13 speed. I thought that looked somewhat familiar.

EDIT: This appears after your reply because I was having trouble attaching both pictures. Got it fixed now lol!

And yes, it's true - big rigs can now be purchased with full electronically controlled automatic transmissions. KW and Peterbuilt both offer 18 speed Allison automatics.

From a guy who grew up on Smokey and the Bandit and Convoy and my stepdad driving a Ford 9000 for 20 years it just don't seem right for a big rig to have an automatic transmission.
