I mentioned in my selling post, I'm looking at possibly getting long tubes, and with this exhaust would be much too loud for me. Beyond that, I really liked the sound.

Awesome exhaust I have it as well. I've had a few compliments on it from strangers but it is certainly on the louder side. The resonators do a great job of combating drone at cruising speeds also

How loud is it at idle? I want something louder at idle, and also keep the same raspiness as the npp

Definitely louder at idle and much deeper. I wouldn't describe it as raspy though, but growls like a race car when you get on it. The 3" pipes make a big difference in the tone no doubt.

I've run into the same problem of my NPP even fuse pulled being too quiet for my liking. I prefer my cars to absolutely scream. Looks like a solid budget friendly setup, while being 3" in case you decide to push a ton of power.

How was it with secondary cats deleted? Or did you put em back on with installation of the MBRP?

Also is that an X-pipe or is it just welded close and straight through in 2 pipes? Looks like an X.

Put back the secondary cats before installation. I thought it may be too loud without them, and I guessed right as it was plenty loud with them installed. If you really like it loud and aren't planning on long tubes, I could see removing the 2nd cats with this exhaust. My experience removing the 2nd cats on the NPP is an increase in volume of maybe 20-25 % or so.
