I could not view the Vid, Does the noise happen under VERY LITE Throttle? In My car and also My Truck with an 8spd Tranny I notice that what I think is the Fuel tank Vent Valve whistle's when you Take off for the first time in the Morning. From that point on, I don't hear it again that day.

one of many problems that my 2SS is plagued with.
Funny thing was one of my mechanic buddies was like "it's your blower man, sounds perfectly normal" ... smh. |

So I am going to take a stab at this and see where it falls. Have you ever replaced the windshield wipers yet? Reason I ask I had a car that with a certain brand of windshield wipers it would whistle like this. I went crazy trying to figure out where the noise was coming from until one day when I was driving in the rain and using them the sound would stop and start with the action of the windshield wiper movement.

Not wipers, this is very minor gear whine. I'm not worried about mine at all.

I spoke to a Chevy tech friend of mine and he looked into the system for any bulletins and said there was one that matched my exact details. Says it has to do with a loose bearing or something in the transmission but I will need to go to the dealer to take a look by their transmission specialist. To the dealer I go :( other than that car has been great.

I hear the hiss or whistle sound on your video. Not sure if my car does that but hey I drive in track and competive mode most of the time with radio on and gas pedal down.
I had to double check if you had a v6, but nope you have an SS. Make some noise and you will not hear that quiet hiss.

I took a video demonstrating some grinding with my car but I believe if you go through it you will hear your whistle in my video - doesn't mean that it's normal though because mine's just odd lol
