You should definitely change that rear end fluid. The owners manual recommends that you change it before any type of competitive driving.

No it doesn't, it recommends changing it AFTER the first racing or competitive driving event.

When I had my first oil change done the dealership forgot to reset the oil life reading. Thankfully I checked it before leaving the lot.

Well, you said you have done six various track days, right? So regardless you are way past due.

Guess they changed it, as I found this to. I wonder what is more current?

I am at 9980 miles and have changed the the oil 3 times now. The first 500 miles I did it myself to check the oil quality and shavings, metal particles, etc. At 1500 miles changed the rear gear fluid with oem. At 9200 miles changed the transmission fluid. I believe early changes really help in the beginning. Now I have the 4th oil change coming up and will switch to amsoil and do 10k mile oil changes. Switch to amsoil transmission fluid at 30-36k miles. Next rear diff change will switch to synthetic if every one has found out what actually works. I contacted amsoil and they said to wait for alittle while on rear gear fluid to make sure it was compatible.

I also maintain my own motorcycles and there is alot more maintenance for those then a sports car. So what I do is not necessary just helps my maintenance OCD. No can ever say it was not maintained properly.

Tranny fluid at 9200? Never even thought about changing that out so early...
