Fraying of window trim/weatherstrip - normal? - Page 2

Over the years I've seen window tinting peeling off and looking gross. Do any of you owners worry about this? Is the process different now?

My tint (FormulaOne Pinnacle) has a lifetime warranty against most things including discoloration.
